Staff Celebrate NZ Music Month

As part of NZ Music Month, Massey High School staff showed their support for New Zealand music by taking part in NZ Band T-Shirt Day on Friday 29 May.

Staff came to school wearing t-shirts featuring a wide range of Kiwi bands and artists, highlighting the diversity and talent within New Zealand’s music scene. From iconic acts such as Split Enz and Shihad to contemporary artists including Kimbra, Kaylee Bell, Alien Weaponry, and Dartz, the day provided a fun opportunity to celebrate local music and the artists who contribute to Aotearoa’s unique cultural identity.

NZ Music Month is an annual celebration that encourages New Zealanders to discover, support, and enjoy homegrown music. It was great to see our staff getting involved and showing their appreciation for the talented musicians who help create the soundtrack of Aotearoa.
